Papa Dia is Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank in Aurora and also leads the African Leaders Group, a coalition of citizens working to improve the quality of life in Aurora and beyond. Through his active civic and community engagement, Papa advocates for excellent education for all children, and particularly the children who are immigrants to America.
Gary Wheat,
Gary Wheat is President and CEO of Visit Aurora, an organization that understand every aspect of Aurora and markets Aurora as a place to visit and live. Gary is interested in creating excellent educational opportunities for all children.
Dwight Jones,
Dwight Jones serves as Superintendent in Residence for Discovery Communications, and is former Commissioner of Education for Colorado. Dwight has spent most of his adult life supporting teachers and principals, and advocating for the children of Colorado, especially students who are challenged by poverty and other barriers.
Rachel Ngola,
Rachel Ngola is Vice President of Finance at CRESA. She is an Aurora Public Schools parent and advocate for ensuring quality school options across the district, for all students.
Zack Neumeyer,
Zack Neumeyer is Chairman of Sage Hospitality, a company that operates hotels and restaurants across the country and provides industry-leading hotel management services. Zack is a recognized expert in organizational development and effectiveness.
